School Clubs!
Our after school gardening club plants seeds, transplants seedlings, and cares for the school garden by weeding, watering and harvesting vegetables. We grow a variety of plants, including carrots, radishes, lettuce, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, tomatoes, squash and beans. We also grow flowers for our pollinators (butterflies, moth, hummingbirds, and bees) to visit. The club also maintains a reading area in the garden for classes to visit. We have future plans to incorporate composting in our garden, as well as improving green areas on campus.

In our after school engineering club, students use the engineering design process ( Ask, Imagine, Plan, Create, Improve) to learn engineering skills while solving challenges and having fun. Projects have included KNEX race cars, cardboard and foam roller coasters, straw rockets, milk-carton structures, and water bottle inventions. Future plans include incorporating robotics and more technology in our engineering club.
